Use order messages for anything directly related to an active order. This includes requirements, delivery details, revision notes, files, and deadline questions.
Use direct inbox messages for general questions before an order starts or for conversations not tied to a specific order.
Keeping order related communication on the order page protects both sides because the timeline is easier for support to review.
