Important: By accessing or using Taskbux, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Overview

Taskbux is an online marketplace where users may buy and sell digital services, freelance work, tasks, task packages, task extras, and related marketplace offerings.

Taskbux provides marketplace tools, payment processing flows, messaging, order tracking, reviews, dispute tools, support tickets, promotional listing features, and administrative moderation. We are not a party to the private performance relationship between a buyer and seller except as the platform operator.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time, including features, fees, payout rules, dispute rules, moderation tools, and eligibility requirements.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

  • You may not create accounts using false, misleading, stolen, or unauthorized information.
  • You may not sell, transfer, rent, or share your account without written permission from Taskbux.
  • You may not use the platform if your account has been suspended, banned, restricted, or removed.
  • You are responsible for keeping your email address, PayPal email, and payment information accurate.
  • We may require identity, payment, security, or account verification before allowing certain actions.

3. Buyer Terms

Buyers are responsible for reviewing task descriptions, packages, extras, delivery times, seller profiles, seller reviews, and order requirements before placing an order.

  • Buyers must provide clear, accurate, and complete order requirements.
  • Buyers must not request illegal, abusive, fraudulent, harmful, or prohibited services.
  • Buyers must communicate professionally and keep order-related communication on the platform when possible.
  • Buyers must review deliveries in a reasonable time and use revision tools fairly when available.
  • Buyers may not abuse disputes, refunds, chargebacks, reviews, or support tickets.

If a buyer opens a payment dispute, chargeback, PayPal claim, or other external payment challenge, Taskbux may restrict the related order, reverse internal credits, cancel services, apply infractions, or limit account access.

4. Seller Terms

Sellers are responsible for creating accurate task listings, delivering work as described, communicating professionally, and complying with marketplace rules.

  • Sellers must accurately describe their services, pricing, delivery times, revisions, extras, and requirements.
  • Sellers must not misrepresent skills, identity, experience, delivery capability, or ownership of work.
  • Sellers must deliver original, lawful, and permitted work.
  • Sellers must not move buyers off-platform to avoid fees, rules, records, or dispute handling.
  • Sellers must respond to buyers and support requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sellers are responsible for taxes, business obligations, and legal compliance related to their earnings.

We may pause, reject, edit, hide, demote, suspend, or remove tasks that violate our rules, receive repeated complaints, appear misleading, contain inappropriate content, or create marketplace risk.

5. Payments, Fees, Tips, and Promotions

Payments may be processed through account balance, PayPal, or other payment methods enabled by Taskbux. Payment availability may vary by account, location, user type, risk profile, or platform settings.

Marketplace Payments

  • Orders may include task prices, package prices, extras, platform fees, payment processing fees, or other applicable charges.
  • PayPal processing fees may be added to PayPal payments where enabled.
  • Tips may be paid to sellers after eligible orders, subject to platform rules and fees.
  • Task promotions may be paid features and may include highlight placements, featured placements, or category placements.
  • Promotional purchases do not guarantee orders, sales, clicks, ranking, impressions, or revenue.

Commission Revenue

Taskbux may collect commission, listing fees, promotional fees, payment-related fees, or other platform charges. Fees may change at any time, but changes will not retroactively alter completed transactions unless required by law, payment processor rules, fraud review, or dispute resolution.

6. Seller Payouts

Sellers may request payouts of eligible available balance through the payout page when payouts are enabled. Payouts may be processed manually or through PayPal instant payout features where available.

  • Sellers must maintain a valid PayPal email if requesting PayPal payouts.
  • Minimum payout amounts may apply.
  • Completed order requirements may apply before instant payouts are available.
  • Monthly payout request limits may apply.
  • Payouts may be held for manual review if the seller has active infractions, active disputes, suspicious activity, payment risk, or incomplete account information.
  • We may delay, reject, cancel, or reverse payout requests if required for risk, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, or platform security.

A payout marked as processing may still fail, be held, be returned, be refunded, remain unclaimed, or be cancelled by PayPal or another payment provider. If a payout fails and the funds are returned to Taskbux, we may return the funds to the seller's platform balance.

7. Disputes, Refunds, Reversals, and Chargebacks

We may provide internal dispute tools, support tickets, admin review, payment records, order timelines, and notification systems. Users must cooperate with dispute investigations and provide accurate information.

Internal Disputes

  • Admins may review order history, messages, files, delivery records, reports, reviews, and payment data.
  • Admins may cancel orders, release payments, hold payments, reverse seller credits, apply infractions, or take other reasonable action.
  • Dispute decisions may consider buyer requirements, seller delivery, communication, evidence, timelines, and marketplace risk.

PayPal and External Payment Disputes

  • PayPal reversals, refunds, chargebacks, complaints, adjustments, and dispute events may affect orders, tips, promotions, payouts, and user balances.
  • If PayPal reverses or refunds a buyer payment, the related order, tip, or promotion may be cancelled, reversed, marked disputed, or disabled.
  • If a seller was already credited for a disputed payment, we may remove the seller payout amount from the seller's platform balance.
  • If a reversal is cancelled or the payment provider resolves the matter in favor of the platform, seller credits may be restored where appropriate.

Users who abuse payment disputes, submit fraudulent claims, or intentionally misuse buyer protection systems may receive infractions, payout restrictions, account suspension, or permanent removal.

8. Content, Messaging, and Prohibited Conduct

Users are responsible for the content they post, upload, send, sell, purchase, or display on Taskbux.

Prohibited Content and Behavior

  • Illegal services, fraud, scams, phishing, malware, hacking, credential theft, or deceptive activity.
  • Harassment, threats, hate, abuse, intimidation, sexual exploitation, or targeted attacks.
  • Adult sexual content, explicit content, or services that violate law or platform rules.
  • Stolen work, copyright infringement, trademark abuse, plagiarism, or unauthorized resale.
  • False reviews, fake orders, review manipulation, spam, bots, or artificial engagement.
  • Attempts to bypass platform fees, order systems, messaging records, or dispute tracking.
  • Posting private personal information without permission.
  • Misleading task descriptions, bait-and-switch pricing, or false claims.

We may moderate, edit, restrict, hide, remove, or report content that violates these Terms, creates risk, or harms the marketplace.

9. Reviews and Marketplace Transparency

Reviews help maintain trust between buyers and sellers. Reviews must be honest, relevant, and based on actual marketplace experiences.

  • Users may not buy, sell, trade, threaten, manipulate, or fake reviews.
  • Users may not post abusive, hateful, private, misleading, or irrelevant review content.
  • We may remove or moderate reviews that violate these Terms or appear fraudulent.
  • Buyer and seller reviews may be displayed publicly to support marketplace transparency.

A negative review alone is not a Terms violation, but abusive or dishonest review behavior may result in moderation or infractions.

10. Infractions, Restrictions, and Account Enforcement

Taskbux may issue infractions for behavior that violates marketplace rules, creates risk, harms users, or abuses platform systems.

Examples of Infraction Reasons

  • Not replying to buyers or abandoning orders.
  • PayPal disputes, chargebacks, or suspicious payment behavior.
  • Inappropriate task text, messages, images, files, or reviews.
  • Spam, harassment, scams, fraud, threats, or abusive communication.
  • Repeated order issues, misleading listings, or policy violations.

Possible Actions

  • Warnings or account infractions.
  • Task removal, task rejection, or seller restrictions.
  • Messaging restrictions or blocked contact.
  • Payout holds, manual payout review, or payout denial.
  • Account suspension, account closure, or permanent ban.

11. Task Promotions

Sellers may purchase promotional placements where available. Promotions may include task highlights, featured homepage placement, category featured placement, or similar marketplace visibility tools.

  • Promotions are subject to availability, eligibility, moderation, and payment verification.
  • Promotions do not guarantee impressions, clicks, messages, orders, revenue, ranking, or sales.
  • We may remove, expire, reverse, or cancel promotions connected to refunds, PayPal disputes, chargebacks, fraud, or policy violations.
  • If one promotion is disputed, we aim to affect only the specific related promotion when technically possible.

Promotional fees may be non-refundable unless required by law, payment processor rules, or an admin-approved refund decision.

12. Intellectual Property

Users must only upload, sell, deliver, or request content they have the right to use. You are responsible for ensuring that your tasks, files, messages, deliveries, images, branding, and content do not violate intellectual property rights.

Unless otherwise agreed between buyer and seller, ownership and usage rights for delivered work should be clearly stated in the task description, package terms, order messages, or custom agreement.

We may remove content or restrict accounts in response to copyright, trademark, ownership, or intellectual property complaints.

13. Platform Availability

We work to keep Taskbux available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, errors, hosting issues, security events, third-party outages, payment provider downtime, or other disruptions.

We are not responsible for losses caused by downtime, delayed notifications, missed messages, payment processor delays, or third-party service failures.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts at any time if we believe a user violated these Terms, created marketplace risk, abused payment systems, committed fraud, harmed another user, or violated applicable law.

  • Suspended users may lose access to messages, orders, tasks, payouts, reviews, and account features.
  • Funds may be held while disputes, fraud reviews, chargebacks, or legal issues are investigated.
  • Users may not create replacement accounts to bypass restrictions.

We may retain records as needed for legal, tax, fraud prevention, safety, payment processor, or dispute resolution purposes.

15. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Taskbux is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the platform will always be secure, error-free, uninterrupted, profitable, or suitable for your needs.

We are not responsible for user-created content, seller performance, buyer instructions, third-party payment actions, PayPal decisions, chargebacks, external links, files shared by users, or off-platform conduct.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Taskbux and its owners, operators, staff, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of the platform.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Taskbux, its owners, operators, staff, contractors, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the platform, your content, your services, your orders, your disputes, your payment activity, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates may be posted on this page, displayed in your account, or communicated through platform notices. Continued use of Taskbux after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
